My lovely, lovely weekend
consisted of: sunny skies, bare legs, pink lemonade, new clothes, catching up with friends, The Secret World of Arrietty (new Miyazaki film! go see it!), lots of sushi, Berkeley hills, making a new friend, Valencia, shopping, talking to cool strangers, murals on the Mission, diner dinner, BBQ party, love, love, more shopping, pastries, and more sunny skies.  Missing Mardi Gras this year...

“Astride the world, my strong heels sprung into the flasks of the world, I stare into the shoulders of the world as the celebrant stares at the midpoint between the eyes of the sacrificial victim.” - Frantz Fanon, in The Fact of Blackness, addressing his “inborn complex.” Such beautiful words worth being noted.
